My new A119 V3 arrived today. What setting is considered best ... the 1600p or the 1440p? I've opted for the 30 not 60. Cam comes with firmware 2.4 only there's a 2.5 - had trouble loading it. Couldn't open it to see if there was another file preventing it loading. Does 2.5 contain anything...

I always run my F&R Viofos with display on so that I can easily see that they are on (connection hub at cig lighter is a bit loose as well as on the rare occasion they have been known to not turn on) I also prefer to view when using the menu. I wouldn't get a Dash Cam without a display ... so no...

2 yrs with the 32gb + 2 yrs with the 64 = 4 yrs for the Dashcam I would be extremely happy with a 4 year life span for my 2 VIOFOs ... I expect minimum of 2 yrs with anything over that a bonus. I'm into bonus time on both of mine ... which is good (y)

I have always used a U3 card for 1440p cams (A119PRO/MF3) due to it's faster write speed rather than the standard U1 that I use for my 1080p (A119S) *No idea whether it is necessary - just a hunch ---> too much is better than not enough :cool:
