It means you've switched from h.264 to h.265 coding. And yes, when you stop recording and press the MIC button for like 4-5s it enable/disable this mode.

A129 Pro blocking key fob signal

Some use ferrite beads on both ends and claimed it helped. I'm rather from "use better power supply, because some initial versions of HWK suck big time" team.

A129 Pro blocking key fob signal

It is possible, here are several threads reporting interference (keyfobs, FM/DAB radio, etc.) from the USB cable between cameras. That's probably why Viofo started using coax cables with serialized communication.

    What size coax are these

Yep, not compatible with Blackvue. Here is another rich thread about the cables and connectors: https://dashcamtalk.com/forum/threads/a139-cable-connector-type.44235

    A139 Cable / Connector Type?

@sdgenxr Sorry for the late response. Well yes and no. If you literally mean "split it" then that won't be possible I'm afraid (simply put, it's digital communication, not just mere analog), BUT you should be able to use the AV output from the camera and only get the rear camera feed from it...

    A139 Cable / Connector Type?

@sdgenxr I'm not sure if I understand you correctly. You had me on "factory camera feed into a A139" but lost me on "factory use of the camera" - what do you mean by the last part? Like you want to connect the coaxial cable to the AV input of a display?

Goal: Access A139 with Station Mode

@fisher127 After you set it up in the app, turn off Wifi via the button (just a quick press) at the right side, stop recording via the second button from the left side (just a quick press) and then press and hold the record button and the Wifi button at the same time until camera says Station...

    Bluetooth remote not working

@springerview Have you tried to just pull the battery out for few seconds? When I was testing multiple "genuine" and "non-genuine" remotes for my Viofo dashcams, sometimes they just stopped working and it needed a powercycle, then it paired right away.

Is low bitrate parking mode supposed to change resolution?

Yes, since firmware v2.5 (or so), Viofo decided to decrase the resolution to fight overheating while parked. But If I remember correctly, somebody claimed that if you change the resolution in parking mode, you should be able to record in 4k again.

Successfully Surviving Overheat, Heat Sinks Helped A LOT!

The main problem is HiSilicon chip itself. You can at least add heatpad between the chip and top shield cover which helps dissipate some heat due to larger surface area (that's right, Blackvue cheaped out even on this as well) and if you want to go further, there is a bit space for a small...

    A139 Cable / Connector Type?

I bought that particular one at https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001766146042.html . But unfortunately, it's just a wire, you have to crimp the connectors yourself.

    Viofo A139 Pro - 1|2|3 Channel 4K STARVIS-2 HDR + FHD dashcam

I'm happy that finally some large 4k sensors are used in dashcams. 1/1.8" are quite capable in CCTV and 2x2µm pixels are large enough (when we talk about SONY Starvis...).

Viofo A129 Pro vs Blackvue DR900X Plus

Blackvue tends to have G-sensor quite sensitive so some bumps is able recognize (definitely more sensitive than Viofo, that's for sure). I don't know about US, but in Europe it's not that uncommon to feel guilt which holds the person on scene for few minutes (there isn't such drive to flee the...

Viofo A129 Pro vs Blackvue DR900X Plus

Ok, sorry, it seemed like you only recall "somebody" with the hotbox so I assumed you are referring to this video and I added the user (I think USA and Canada "branches" are quite connected): Yeah, true.

Viofo A129 Pro vs Blackvue DR900X Plus

It's probably about priorities and price of a car. When I found out that one of my side mirrors costs 3000$ (after a truck smashed it into 5th dimension) I would definitely want to know when somebody scratched my car tbh (that's the main reason for cloud). Funny thing is that car is now...

Viofo A129 Pro vs Blackvue DR900X Plus

Actually same as @Lufo I don't see Blackvue as higher quality camera, it's actually quite a sh¡tshow for such price BUT if you would like to also monitor your car, Blackvue has probably the best ("In the country of the blind the one-eyed is king") implementation of cloud so far. If you don't...

Viofo A129 Pro vs Blackvue DR900X Plus

Wifi hotspot in cars, in most cases, are active only while drive so you lose 50% usability - not possible to get notified or being able to connect in parked mode. I'm sorry to say that but then he's an idiot. Blackvue lacks behind with their "4k" in terms of IQ but I have to admit that their...

    A139 Firmware

Well, since it's blurry even after reverting back to an older firmware, it's most likely HW issue so you should RMA the unit. I'm not sure now when exactly HDR got implemented for A139 but that could be the cause of the double image (it takes two images with different exposure), that's why HDR...

    A139 Firmware

He claimed that he noticed it after update to v1.7 and was interested whether he can downgrade it... Which, btw, could confirm or rule out for him whether it's firmware caused or not.
