Update: Well...………… I've not had the rear cam connected for two days and so far the front cam has been behaving itself ?? so am I to assume its the rear cam at fault ??

I never said anything comes off ! I said "with mine" when it gets hot / warm the holding knuckle doesn't hold the cam ball as it should cause when shutting the rear hatch the cam drops (not came off) pointing towards the floor .......now if yours is rock solid then yours is a better fitting ball...
