iCodeHead, Thanks for being a NanoQ early adopter. Have you figured out why they have a external cable routed around the GPS mount? Cable seems silly with the pin connector bayonet type mount. Maybe you can re-route the cable and provide a connector directly to the camera.

Nice! If the Super-caps don't end up working well, why can't you wire the camera with both switched 5V power and constant 5V power?

After powering it up, it may take several minutes initially to lock on to the GPS satellites to log it's location in battery backed memory. After that, it should be able to lock to GPS much faster when being powered up.

Must be using Ambarella's A7LA70 processor. Could this processor run more efficiently and use less power and generate less heat than the 0803's A7LA50?

The magnetic ring you bought is a UV filter. The 22mm GGS CPL which I bought, only has a metal ring, no glass or UV filter.... so the ring can be mounted directly to the 0801 face. I found that I really didn't need the CPL, so never actually mounted mine.

Sure. 100C is much cooler than 200C. Someone posted if you run the camera at 1080p it runs cooler.

Yes, repair warranty for 1 year. Let's hope you don't have to replace many. I recall e-prance selling them long before any others.

Running that hot, how long will the built-in battery last? Only a few reported battery problems with the 0801, but it runs cooler.

Try a different 12V to Mini USB power supply. I don't see any AM/FM interference with my 0801.

A lot of fake and bad SD-cards out there. Even name brand cards can be bad. Takes too long to fully test a 32GB card, so none of the manufacturers do it.

Since there have been complaints about running hot, I'd like to know how much current it draws in 1080p and higher 1296p, with and without the LCD on? We already have this for 0801 in 1080p.

I use a Class 10 card on my 0801, not because the camera works better, but cause data transfers are much faster from the card reader to my Windows PC.
