Your alarm sounds like it has a voltage drop detect function, fairly common feature, your battery may have degraded enough over time that it's reaching the point where it falls into range for the low voltage cutoff detect to start triggering

no ridiculous medical system there you have medical emergencies there that can leave you with 100k debt, have the same in Australia and you pay nothing, when I say nothing though it does actually cost you 1.5% extra income tax, pretty small price to pay

if the file is playing but the screen is black generally means you don't have the required codecs installed, try installing the K-Lite codec park, it might sort this issue out for you

yeah just set the timezone, leave everything else to the GPS

I'm not sure that makes sense as the GPS is active while in parking mode anyway, can you keep an eye on few things and let me know what you find when you return to your car and it's in parking mode can you wake the screen and check the time and date before you start the car and go back to...
