I understand you but guess I'm crazy then. I downloaded and installed 2.3. it's working fine now. You could go to the VIOFO forum and ask viofo, the administrator. That is, if you trust some guy on that forum. (-; Edit: He posts a link to 2.3 here. You need to register to download it.

Have you read the thread? And the other thread about firmware? Apparently, it can take some time before the website is updated. But VIOFO posts (temporary) links of new firmware on their forum. User xiongguoy has collected several versions, so they can easily be downloaded.
