IMHO dashcamtalk's owner needs to get him/herself a proper certificate, or disable forced https redirect.
Has anyone had positive experience with this sensor and night time video quality? From what I've seen so far it appears that at night it's just plain blind.
@Edward M. Grant the dd console command is possibly the solution. Fill the card with random data using this command and try reading back. Misc card tests are in essence the same command wrapped in a GUI.

Slightly OT, I know of only one dashcam with IR LEDs functioning properly; it has manual IR cut filter activation by means of a lever. The same lever switches on the LEDs when filter is out of the optical path and off when it's in.
