Beeping on bump won't turn off.

When I hit a bump with the car, my A119 beeps three times and shows a yellow triangle. I turned off every impact detection option on the menu. I have the latest firmware. What do you think is happening?

    Parking mode sensitivity.

I love parking mode, and it is part of the reason why I bought three more of these cameras. One thing - when the car is overnight in my garage the video motion detector does seem to trip from ambient light a bit more than what I think it should. Here is a lot of files made as light came through...

    Two missing files...

I am running 3.3 firmware. Today a Coyote ran in front of my car at 8:10 am, and when I got home, I looked at the files to find it. There are two missing files, and one of them has the footage on it. What could cause this? Is it more likely the camera froze for that long, or the memory card is...

Why can't cars come with DVRs?

My Audi has two front cameras, a camera on each side, and a camera on the back from the factory. None of them record to a DVR. They should. If everyone hear writes to, say, Tesla and asks them for this as a feature, maybe they will do it. And then maybe other car companies will copy Tesla.

Amazon version not wide angle as claimed vs $70 eBay HD.

So I knew they were not being truthful about it being HD, but they also are incorrect about the lens being 120 degrees.

iPhone 5 with CarCorder app and $24 DVR-047-like from Amazon

Captured some dashcam footage from the $24 DVR and the iPhone5. While the dash cam is amazing for $24, I would rather just have the $70 HD one. The problem with the $24 one is not that it is 640x480 so much as it generally lacks sharpness, which I blame on the lens. The jury on if it is...

    iPhone apps

I looked into iPhone apps. The problem with an app is that you won't be using it all the time, so it will probably not be working when someone goes in front of you and slams on their brakes to fake an insurance event. And if another family member is driving your car, then certainly there will be...
