you guys are dicks.. really iphone / smart phone is a COMPUTER. a car camera is not a computer. Get REAL.

the log may be being read, but there is still no KMH or mapping in playback.

Regarding OS I meant to give you as an example that time to time you need to update ANY OS with fresh Firmware, same thing is with dashcams as well. Let me see, i bought a TV.... nup haven't needed a firmware update. Same with my microwave oven. How about my SLR camera... nup no firmware...

just stuck in front of the computer again so i thought i'd look at those GPS logs. Yes they all have V,,,,,,,,,,, in front of the log. The question is how do i edit them out? Using a mac here.

i am using this firmware. I have no Map feedback in playback or speed travelled during playback. Are these firmware issues? The GPS data is logged in the GPS folder so the GPS function is turned on and working. This ISSUE included in the earlier part of this thread.

i use macs but have a PC handy, but i am unwilling to fruck around with firmwares etc. It's not my job. It is the task of the retailer Ojocam to sell a product that works out of the box.

have gone into camera menu & turned G-SENSOR PRECISION OFF. Will this sort this issue out?

where will i see this? on the unit or in the playback application?

Have you tried updating/changing the firmware? The firmware is the latest, but as a consumer... not a developer i shouldn't be put in a position where i should need to do this.

I'm not sarcastic and aggressive. I'm AUSTRALIAN. We might use a different tone in our questioning.. no big deal. But we call it the Great Australian Complaint for consumers..... if it sucks, never go back. Or the International Customer Service Guide. If you like it tell your friends...

so are you saying OJOcam are not reputable? they have been very helpful.

just went for a quick drive.... footage was good. Playback shows NO GPS map information. NO KM/H information. Getting there, not quite satisfied.

If the Unit was supplied with a SD card the manufacturer recommends then maybe there would be a effing hell of a lot less time wasted by people who buy these units. I'm sure the manufacturer could get a decent price on a bulk purchase.
