It is about normal. My A229 plus 2 channel is very similar too. I don't see the problem though as I even set a 5 second delay before startup on mine. I don't see why you would be driving off as soon the car is started though. Each to their own though.

They will work . I had my Street guardian dash cam hardwired . It started playing up , so I just bought an A229 plus and am using the same setup with the SG wiring. I also am obviously using an adapter to usb C atm. Just waiting for viofo to get more stock of the HK4 wiring kit and fuse tap.

They need to bring that back.

I am using a usb C to mini usb adapter on my A229 plus 2 channel with no problems so far. I will upgrade to the HK4 wiring kit as soon as Viofo restock the mini fuse tap. Edit : At the moment i am using the Street Guardian wiring which has the mini usb connection

Jokin RIP didn't leave Street Guardian. He actually passed away a few years ago.

I would try adjusting the camera up one notch. iI think it is showing too much of the dash. I would also try using 1080 @30 fps and see how that goes.

What is the latest beta or otherwise firmware for the SG v2? The latest I see is dated SG20160913. So the 13th September 2016. Is that right? Thanks.

Sorry , I should have mentioned . I am using Windows 10. I did do a short video to upload to YouTube using Registrator Viewer, but I can't remember how I did it. I remember it was very easy though.

Hopefully I didn't miss seeing this. I was hoping the new cam may have had a small design revision to put a small recess to allow better access to the SD card.
