Thanks for that. Unfortunately v2.1 of the program doesn't seem to do anything either. What is supposed to be displayed when I start the program? All I get is the menu bar and a blank window.

I've just downloaded version 2.3.1 from the link in the OP and running the program just gives me an empty window. I tried the File/Open function and selected a bunch of video files but nothing happened. I'm on OS X 10.7. Is it possible to access the older versions to see if they work?

Update: I've had the camera out of the car and run the battery flat to the point that the camera turns itself off - a "Low battery" warning flashes on the screen and then it turns itself off in a controlled manner, showing the normal banner screen as it does so. If I turn it on again then the...

I have just experimented with it in the back garden, powered from a phone charger plugged in to a mains extension cable. It's clear from that test that the camera shoe is not a very secure fitting in the GPS base, and wiggling them gently by hand caused the GPS signal to drop out. The pins all...
