Try this.. Disable the BDP and just use 6hours or 12hours to shutdown the camera when the time is up and see if anything happens for the time being..

Never heard of Memorette before either and neither is it selling over in Singapore.. The same goes for Gold Flash Pro, and from what I know, it is more widely available only in Korea.. I got exposed to GoldFlash only through SM after he introduced me otherwise, I wouldn't have heard of it...

Well... Memorette seems kind'a bad in terms of performance and reliability based on reviews.. Seems like Gold Flash or PNY would be the bang for buck.. I've personally tried Gold Flash Pro and it was all good on PanoramaX2 at the moment..

Anyone care enough to take the plunge and tryout PNY? :p

Wait till a day when something happened, and u need to abstract the videos but it failed on you, then we see who is the foolish one.. o_O This is not a case of SanDisk or whatsoever brand war, but a problem with the X2's compatibility with SDXC Your routine might work for the time being but...

I think because you are constantly formatting it inside the camera.. Try leaving the cards untouched and camera untouched for say 5 days +/- and constantly recording.. See what happens then.. ? Greybox would be inevitable.

Just curious why the X2 can't be like the 2S to be able to support all types of memory cards.. o_O

It seemed like even for the latest FW, it didn't solve the SDXC issue yet unless we go for Transcend 300x Anyone having any issues with Transcend 300x SDXC so far? It must be formatted to fat32 in order to be used smoothly is it?

In that case I would like to address that SanDisk extreme & SanDisk ultra also couldn't be read if SDXC converted to FAT32 So is Samsung's SDXC to FAT32 But I am really curious what's so special about Transcend's SDXC that made it possible to be used on the X2 even after converted to FAT32?

This is kind'a impossible.. I tried so many different brands of SDXC from Sandisk extreme / Samsung Evo / to a few other brands all SDXC formatted to FAT32. It totally goes undetected! Prompting to "Please insert card" on either rear or front Firmware being tested, was on .15 & .17 @ 15mbps...

But SDXC + FAT32 can be supported on the latest firmware .17? I tried SDXC formatting to FAT32, and it goes totally undetected on both firmware .15 and .17 o_O

I tried formatting my SDXC cards into FAT32 and the camera cannot seem to detect the cards at all on either slots! Any idea what's going on?

I encountered that same grey box on screen as well with it being exFAT 64gb samsung and also SanDisk Ultra 64gb. if I format it via SmartDisk to fat32, it just wouldnt detect it, later back to exFAT it reads it again.
