reset date

My mini dash cam have developed video noise, like thin red lines on the left side of the video, both vertical and horizontal, kinda like noise all the way to 3/4 of the screen. Also the date keeps resetting to February 2013. I suspect may be firmware as wneh I reset it and set it up, the video...
