0805 battery issue?

Hi I haven't been on this forum for years.

I have an issue with my Mini 0805, it has been (amazingly) running from April 2015 until now trouble free but I now have an issue:

When it boots up it doesn't get very far, fails to fully start then goes off and repeats in a cycle. Eventually it will boot and start to record.

It is getting worse, now only sometimes.

First symptom was loosing the last recording so I am assuming it s a bad battery!?

Had it open and it measures 3.7v but that's after the last successful use.

The original battery says 502035 450mah, can't find these local to the UK.

I have found on eBay UK a 502030 battery of 250 or 300mah

As far as I know, I think any device can turn on and off automatically
So it could be an issue in its software or it is due to the battery not getting full voltage
So I think if you are getting its battery at a reasonable price on eBay then you should buy it...

Indeed it was the battery at fault, just could hold enough to boot up/pass mains power through I presume. All good again now!
