1080 v 1440

I've just spent some time going through my archive........

Now I could be wrong, but, I'm finding that 1.03 works best in subdued lighting (winter) and vvs mod works best in summer with good sunlight, deeper colours, but at the expense of overall lighting, it's darker. Not much, but enough to make a difference.

I've just reinstalled 1.03 ready for my next journey Thursday and back home to Chez Krem Sunday.
 
Back from my weekend trip.

I can confirm that 1.03 is definitely brighter than VVS Mod 2_5 for the winter months.

As soon as I looked at the first few seconds I could see immediately.

1.03 for the time being.

Bit of a trade off I suppose, vvs seems to capture more detail further out in your screenshot at the expense of nearby detail whereas stock 1.03, you can make out ctek and hozelock on stock but if you look at the tops of the trees, vvs has captured a bit more detail.

I’ve always gone back to using stock 1.03 after testing a few versions, for my use it always seems to be the best.
 
Yes, what I noticed, and is more evident now, is that VVS seems to have a blue hue that is good in the Summer as it makes the sky look good but of late I'm seeing that blue hue too much which is darkening the overall result too much except in bright sunlight.

I must remember to check today's 1.03 in the dark as my journey started off early.
