112 usb connection

Hello

Hopefully somebody can help

I plug in the 112 into my laptop (windows 8) via the usb lead but it doesnt show up in the hard drive. The usb ports work when using for hard drive/iphone. I plus the 112 into my old laptop (windows 7) and it works

The dash cam is up to date abut when plugged into laptop shows mass storage/power/update

Was told to open replay 3 while in update and update but shows no dashcam connected to laptop on both laptops

Replay 3 cannot be used for the 112 I'm sorry - it records in .AVI

You have to select mass storage on the dash cam screen when you plug the cable in and then it will behave as a removable storage device where you can transfer data.

I no but still doesnt work...it works on old versions of windows but not 8 or above?

Try a different cable, or better yet use a card reader, it will be faster

The camera will work on any of those OS versions, when you click OK on mass storage - does the screen go blue?
