Can the A129 plus duo work on a 2 wire universal dash cam hardware kit. It has a battery save device on the hot wire. There is no wire for accessory power.

Just to power it ? Maybe.
But in that case you are better off buying a female lighter socket and a couple of piggyback fuse adapters, wire that into your fuse box and then put the factory viofo PSU into that, and then probably tape the 2 together so they do not wiggle apart under your dashboard.

The generic hard wire kits, and often more miss than hit.

As for doing parking guard i think no chance.

Just for reference I'm using a 2 wire HWK on my Viofo A119 and it works perfectly just having ignition power.
