Not too much thought gone into this one then?
A large body - white body with black lens surround or blue body with a white/silver? lens surround - probably won't be so noticeable

About time they started making a decent dvr where you can plug in 2 remote cams so very little of the system is visible from the outside.

Not only that. I can't believe they expect anyone to get excited about 20/10FPS in 2CH mode? oh, and 720p

we're doing one like that, probably won't be ready until closer to the end of the year though, will be A7 based for dual 1080p, dual memory cards etc and quite discrete

If the dvr is remote, are you going for SDHC or microSD?
Also, hoping the price point is favourable.
I really do like the idea of having dual SD cards, makes more sense for each lens to have its own card.

Maybe concentrate more on getting the basics right rather than trying to cram all sorts of fancy tech into the box? Seems everyone is wanting best definition, highest fps and good low light work. Some love GPS, others love to have something that'll come on with an incident when parked... Maybe have a couple of units in the range to suit different budgets?

I look forward to seeing it on here.

there will be a couple of different remote camera models, A2 version will be SDHC, A7 version will support SDXC

Yes, the FPS is not the best on this dash cam.

Interesting that I found third brand name for same dash cam: Black Cop JMC-400HD.

Hi.

Livue LB300L is launched as Blackcop brand in Korea for Corporate vehicles such as Samsung and SK company cars.

The product won the bid for those corporate vehicle usage. That means the function and performance is good enough as 2Ch Dash cam.

Not sure why such big company as Samsung agree to use dash cam with low fps ( 20fps front 10fps rear ). In our modern world i think a must be specs are: F2.0, 720p 30fps on all cameras no matter if its front or rear. Good would be 1080p front and 720p rear ( both 30fps with at least 10mbps bitrate ), or an ideal is both 1080p 30fps 10mbps but of course price would be higher.

We could do 1080p 15mbit front with 720p 10mbit rear now, I'm a bit hesitant to do that at this stage though when we are close to having a dual 1080p solution available

For those who are looking at buying good video quality 2ch dash cam i would recommend to wait A7 solution or buy 2 separate dash cams like tiotech based gt350w by shadow tec ( total for 2pcs will be less than 200usd incl delivery ). Front camera can be mounted behind mirror and if car has slight tinted film at rear than rear camera will not be that noticed. That is not a perfect solution but the cheapest to get very good video quality.
