Clever Idea Might change mine on the 550 using a similar idea.
 
The polarizing material attached to the dashcam - was that cut from the 3D glasses, or did you get it elsewhere?

From 3D glasses. It is easy to open it!

Just go to see 3D movie and you will get them free!
 
You can keep them because it's "one time use" glasses.
No. I dont remove filter at night.
