Just bought a Rexing V1P from amazon.co.uk at a very reasonable price to replace a very old blackvue. I am keen to use the gps capability of the V1P as I often found it useful on the blackvue. However I can't find the Rexing gps, or any of the other Rexing models that come with a gps unit, on sale in the UK.
Whilst on amazon I noticed a post (in reviews or Q/As) stating that the Apeman gps worked ok with the V1P so I bought it and updated the firmware in the V1P to the latest "expert" version. However the gps status on the screen remains blue and does not change to green. Nor is there any position or speed info displayed when I view the recordings.
Does anyone have experience of using the Apeman gps or any other gps unit with the V1P?
