412GW Charging colours

I've got mine plugged into a PC socket and the LED is showing purple/magenta. Is this a Mass Storage mode colour ?

The manual only lists blue and red as LED colours.

Update:

After about half an hour it's gone red. Presumably fully charged ?

When my 412gw is in my van on some start ups it’s charging as it’s goes from purple/blue colour then once charged just flashes red (usual recording colour) but if plugged into a usb socket at home when on charge it’s stays blue I think and once fully charged the light goes out. Would be get if Tiffany explained more on this...

It obviously sensed something going from magenta to red after about half hours connection. No issues with it but I do like to keep it charged weekly if I don't use the car and the PC is handy.

It is on a USB3 port so has almost double the oomph of USB2.

Mines just plugged in via the supplied car cigarette lighter in my works van and like I said some mornings (when you can actually see the led light lol) it will flash simultaneously between blue & purple colour

I must decline Mass Storage mode next time and see what it does re colours.

Magenta is a combination of the blue and red lights.

This means its charging and in standby mode/on at the same time.
