I could not find a one piece 10 to 15 foot long USB power cable with an up or down angled 5 or 10 pin mini USB end at a reasonable (or unreasonable) price.
It finally occurred to me that 2 usb cables could be used to make one reasonably priced cable for what is needed.
The connection where the 2 cables plug together might be unwieldy in some installations.

I found these cables on walmart.com. I looked online to find link depot claims to use high gauge copper power wires (I saw one description say somewhere around 21 to 24 gauge). The data wires are thinner copper coated steel. http://www.link-depot.com/ These cables come from walmart so they should meet minimum quality standards.

If having an angled mini end does not matter to you either of these next 2 cables should offer reasonably priced solution for a long power cable without waiting for delivery from China.

Ebay has a Mini 5Pin Male to USB Mini 5Pin Female 90° hard plastic Angle Adapter for $1.39. Plugged into either cable above this could provide the angle desired.
Is the right angle correct for this application?

You could plug a cable that is angled, up, down, or sideways into a usb extension cable and apply some electrical tape on the joint to guarantee the 2 cables would not separate to obtain your needed length cable. 2 USB ends taped together might be annoying in an installation and might make it difficult to install depending on how your car is made.

These StarTech cables may or may not be an option to consider. Wire Gauge: 28 AWG (copper???) Cable Jacket Type: PVC (per an ebay description)

Walmart also lists 25' and longer USB extension cables with a built in repeater for house use.

Moving on to ebay...
We can find an up or down angle mini usb cables to plug into a full size type A end on ebay starting at $1.26 that are about 1 foot long but the quality may or may not be lacking.

Mini USB to Mini USB extension cable with an angled end
The listings do not say if the wires are copper or foil covered cotton. This option may save a few $$$ or waste them.
A left, right, up, or down angle adapter 1 foot mini usb extension cable is available here for US $1.19.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/252631161785 I bought one of these. The "up" version was correct for an upside down mobius maxi. It is just shy of 11" long at about 276mm going from one end of the plugin to the other end of the other plug in. It is about 10 1/4" long measuring from the plugged in end to the connector which should have the longer usb cord plugged into it. That extension style end has a small hole built in to allow a small zip tie or string to hold the 2 cables together which is a nice design feature.

These angle adapters look identical to the cables directly above for 40 cents more. US $1.59.

If you do not mind a full size USB plug hard plastic adapter ebay has them.
I would be concerned about the extra weight and road vibrations causing a leverage problem creating long term stress damage to the usb port of the camera.
90 Degree down angle USB Type A Female to Mini B 5 Pin Male Converter Adaptor $1.39

3 Pack Right/Up/Down Angle 90° USB Type A Female to Mini B 5pin Male Adaptor $3.47

If you use a full size adapter for a type A USB plug in you will need to use a cable like this.
C&E USB 2.0 Type A Male to Type A Male Cable, Black, 10 Feet $5.22

I've been using a 3m USB extension cable plus an unknown 1.5m one to power my M1 since I got it well over 3 years ago. As best I remember, the long one was a Belkin bought at WalMart but they don't carry this one anymore (or they may never have if my memory is wrong). I remember choking on the price whatever it was, but it was all that was available locally and I wanted to complete the install so I got it. Never a problem even powering other cams for testing. Wrapped the connection with electrical tape just to be sure, but it was still tight when I changed vans so that probably wasn't necessary. Just lucky with the shorter one which adapts to the cam.

Thanks for the links, hope someone tries them and let's us know how good they are.
Phil
