512 GW polarizer removal

Just wondering if anyone with the 512 gw removes their circular polarizer during the UK's usual dull weather to improve the video.

My 412 glare was dreadful before I fitted the lens.

Have you considered upping the exposure by 1 for the winter months instead ?

Is that from 0 to +1 ?

I can't remember which way. You can test indoors though. I did a brief indoor test, pointing outdoors, before I spotted the lens and it made a difference.

I just think taking the lens on and off with the seasons will be a faff.

I put mine upto +1 on my 412gw before driving to work this morning in the dark and will see the results later on today when I review the footage on the laptop

Yep, +2 for night. Before that nights were barely visible. I’ll take some shots tomorrow and send them to you.
