Do you reckon it's a go? Latest firmware? If we all vote yes, I'll buy it!

Someone has to be first...buy, buy, buy!

The gps option is missing! It says to select it first, but there is no option

I noticed that, something for them to fix!
Edit: They're fast, it's fixed now. 11.90USD for GPS option.

Going up, $24.90 now.

Sounds more realistic

What is that external gps unit, is it just a gps antenna, or is it independent usb or serial gps device that gives nmea data to camera?

I haven't seen it but going by the mainboard it would have to be an active device, not just an antenna

How does it plug in? Usb?

GPS Module (+$24.90 )

Sorry for my questions, but I am a little confused by now. This topic here is from July 2013, a time, when the "old" GT300W was still available. Was the GT550W at that time as well advertised as the successor of the GT300W?

And how come that you could already buy it WITH a GPS unit, while at the moment there is not just no GPS unit available but as well no GT550W which even has a GPS connector (so that GPS would be optional)?
