I'm planning to buy a F500LHD, 2nd or 3rd version, from estore009 on eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dl ... 0361071483 or http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dl ... 0672647481) but wondering which lens is usually supplied and best. I'm guessing the 7mm is what's supplied as it's the standard one and the optional 4.5mm isn't available with the 3rd version, but elsewhere I read that the F500LHD version was the version with a wide angle lens which apparently provides a 120 deg view and I thought was closer to 4.5mm on most cameras. Anyway, I'm just trying to make sure I'll be happy with what's supplied and most find is best.

Hi bls,

There used to be 2 models. The F500 with a very narrow angle and the F500L with a wider angle. I think the 7mm was the narrow angle and the 4.5mm (which was really 3.5mm) was the wide angle. The listing is likely just a cut-and-paste and I don't think there is an optional lens. All of these cameras are the wide angle versions based on user feedback. I haven't seen the F500 narrow angle for sale anywhere.

Thanks for the clarification - it makes ordering one of the cameras much easier knowing there shouldn't be any surprises :D
