@rcg530 here's my own experience. I have a faulty memory card. It used to work fine, but recently I've noticed files with frame drops. I tested it with H2testw and got good results; no errors in writting/reading, and average writing speed was ok.
I had a deep card formatting, then let the cam record continuously for over 24 hours. The issue became worse; every few (1 min) videos have a video with frame drops. Then I tried copying a big file into the card on my computer to observe its write speed, and I saw this performance variation. It's likely that dashcams don't have a big write cache like computers, so at the moment writing speed hits the bottom, frame drops occur.

I replaced the 256 GB SanDisk Max Endurance card with one of the two 70mai 512 GB memory cards I purchased in February. Both of those 70mai cards showed no problems from h2testw.

I drove my vehicle on Tuesday with the 70mai card in place. I no longer had any lost video frames. I did find the read and write speeds of that particular 70mai 512 GB memory card were now very slow. I ran a CrystalDiskMark on that 70mai card and it showed slow read and write speeds. I tested the second 70mai 512 GB memory card and its CrystalDiskMark stats were very good. I used the second 70mai 512 GB memory card in the A810S during my drive into town on Wednesday. The read speed of that second 70mai card remained good and there were no missing video frames in the recorded footage.

I reported the slow performance of the first 70mai 512 GB memory card to 70mai and they are replacing it under warranty.

Since I replaced the memory card with a 70mai 512 GB memory card, I have not found any video files with dropped video frames.
