Hello,

Could someone share English firmware?

I need convert my Chinese version to English.

@seanarad Thank you for info.

In this case China version is kind of useless for me.

I can't even register in China app because China cellphone number is needed.

Login from WorldWide version is not working in China.

Update:

I installed China app from https://www.70mai.com/download/

During registration China cellphone is not needed you can put your email instead - thank you so much @lisabon_Q3 for tip.

Fortunately China application has English language and I can set most parameters from application and no need do this from China
menu on camera.

Folks in 4pda have confirmed that crossflashing different regional firmware (like CN to WW) is now blocked. It will return an error and asking to reflash correct firmware.

I can confirm that flashing from CN to WW is not working.

Even if upgrade process ended with success dvr are starting with error "Firmware mismatch' and after few seconds goes down.

After rollback to CN version everything works as before.

MY SUMMARY:
Don't change firmware from CN edition to WW because it's not working anymore like in older models.
Instead use China app with English language support.

If you like to have support for WW languages buy worldwide version not CN.

Btw, here's the English firmware and hopefully someone will modify it.

The "Firmware mismatch" prompt come out when the device is powered on and right before recording starts.

Steps (PLEASE DO NOT FLASH ON CHINESE DEVICE):
  1. Unzip and paste the firmware in the root of the SD card.
  2. Make sure the device is completely off.
  3. Insert the SD card.
  4. Press and hold the button 4 (most right) and power button and plug in USB cable.
  5. The device will start updating.

Hi Any one aware how to Get Chinese Version Dash cam out of Brick mode?
I tried the above CN FW, it is able to download with the uSD Card but post that still gets stuck in loop at 70mai screen

The issue started since last FW update form app and using it for couple of days.
NOTE: I bought this CN version from South Korea and using it with the Chinese App store app as per manual. And after 2nd FW update through App its happening & not able to resolve so far
Appreciate the support form this group

i already have an account in 70mai but while trying to login through chinese app it says to register first, while trying to register i do not get an option for entering email id instead its asking for a chinese mobile number, how do i bypass this issue.

That's right, after version 3.9.0 you can no longer register via email... BUT you can manually install version 3.9.0, register/log in, and then upgrade to the latest version.

Thanks for the apk, luckily I was able to login in, now hopefully I will be able to pair my dashcam with my phone

Can you share steps to use china app because wherever I tried it is asking me for the china mobile number

Can you please share the apk and steps to register?

Press "Sign up" - "get the code" - enter the code and password. Log in and update to the latest version through the app. Only for android. There is no way to install the previous version for Ios.
 
I have downloaded the apk but after clicking on the signup it is asking me for mainland China Phone number.
Is there any way to signup using email id only?
