Hi all. I've just done upgrade of my 70mai chinese hardware from 1.03 english voice (and chinese commands) to 1.08 Eu (chinese hardware and english commands), but I'm not able to successfully give any of the english commands. I beleive to have a a good pronunciation but it seems not to be good...

What firmware are you trying?

Are you sure that you're putting the SD_CardDV.bin file (named that way) in the root of the micro SD card?

No, you need to solder the chip and upload the firmware manually through the programmer.

Hi, I have D01 and firmware 1.0.8.eu and I have a problem. The camera does not start recording automatically when I start the car, only the blue LED flashes. He says something in English, I only understand this: ... connect the phone. When I connect the phone hed starts recording and the LED flashes green. I turn off the car and then turn on the blue again. I still have to plug in the phone. Where to look for a mistake? (sorry for my bad english)

Hi! I had the same issue. I flashed the latest EU firmware again (it was already on it) from the SD card, by copying the .bin file to the SD card root folder as is, than turning on the cam. It will start updating and flashing blue for about 2 minutes. Than it worked for me after. I also added a config file to the root to not have the MI logo on the corner, but I don't know if that has anything to it. I've attached the update and the config file for you (I found these in this forum btw).

How to change language from Chinese to English

So I just bought online a 70Mai 1S but it came directly from China. Is there any firmware to change the langauge to english? The camera works fine but I can´t give any commands.

Firmware 1.0.4 is the latest for the international version. There was no more update.

English version has "70mai" written on it, CN version has chinese letters on it.

I have D01 with latest firmware 1.0.8.eu (international version).
Is there any chance to get this firmware but without start/stop sound? When you are starting cam and also the sound when the power is off. All other sounds can stay (like opening hotspot etc.).
Is there any firmware maybe on the internet?
I downloaded your 1.0.4 but nothing happened once trying update the dashcam... (maybe because it was for chinesse version?)
