The new 70mai mini comes a new Hi3556 V200 CPU and with an updated OS05A10 image sensor, thus raising the image resolution to 2560*1600 and hopefully also bumping up the quality. Other features include voice alerts, WiFi and APP connectivity, parking mode and an improved aperture and lens system.

Here is my initial review and some footage.

Extracted some info about the footage that the camera save and found something interesting, it's saving 2 video streams into one single file.

Video: HVC1 2560x1600 25fps 11570kbps [V: Hisilicon VIDEO [eng] (hevc main, yuv420p, 2560x1600, 11570 kb/s)]
Video: MPEG4 Video (H264) 640x480 25fps 1312kbps [V: Hisilicon VIDEO [eng] (h264 high L3.0, yuv420p, 640x480, 1312 kb/s)]
Audio: AAC 48000Hz mono 125kbps [A: Hisilicon AUDIO [eng] (aac lc, 48000 Hz, mono, 125 kb/s)]

Here is a quick test comparison between the Viofo A119S and the new 70mai Mini dash-cameras. The new 70mai seems overall brighter and in difficult light situations such as the sun shining directly in the lens copes better and still keeps the ground part exposed well. Will repeat the test in low light also.

Maybe you should remove the CPL from the Viofo so that it is a fair comparison?

Will try that also, but i remember when i started using the CPL that there wasn't a big difference in light sensitivity, only at night time there was slightly more noise / lost of sharpness.
Another difference might be that the 70mai was recording in 1600p at which only has 25fps.

Hello! The messages mention about 25 frames. I have a video in the properties of 1080i H.265, 30 fps. Does everyone have firmware 1.0.1 or is it possible to include 25 frames?
