7900 with LK 290. Park mode/Motion detector won't engage.

I have Park Mode to be turned on automatically after 3mins along with Motion Detector enabled but both functions refuse to work.

I've tried different combos for the Cut-off setting switch, both 12V/24V Selector switch, both volt and time
mode but nothing is happening.

Am I missing a step?

LK290 has nothing to do with the 7900 parking mode coming on. The LK290 is just there to cut the power to the camera if the car battery is low.
As long as the camera is getting power it should come in and out of parking mode for you as per your settings.
Are you making your settings in the viewer software and then saving them to the SD card that is used in the camera?
