900X2ch no "impact detected during parking mode" vocal guidance

Hello, I have two 900X-2ch and on many occasions, I do not hear the vocal alert "impact detected during parking mode". The option is selected in settings. The cams are hardwired into an external battery.

Here is the test I do:
-enter the car and start the engine: cameras turn on
-turn off the engine: cameras enter parking mode
- slam the door to simulate an impact during parking: the impact is recorded by the camera
-wait at least 3 minutes before switching on the engine: cameras leave parking mode. No vocal alert "impact detected during parking mode"

Do you understand why I have no vocal warning for this test ? Thank you

Could it be a firmware issue? Have you recently updated?
I've found from experience (even though BlackVue deny it) that reverting to the previous fw version has cured a number of issues for me.

Because.. there is a ~ 3 minute delay before it starts monitoring. This... being by design to stop errant recordings while "you" exit the vehicle. Wait ~ 5 min and then try your door slamming test.
