Hi all,

just wanted to post this for others my A139 pro is hard wired into my car and just started the boot loop issue, I bought it in 2022 from VIOFO directly. After reading the forum yesterday i contacted Support from their https://support.viofo.com/

Just received this today "

Sorry for the unexpected issue.

"In this case, the front camera should be faulty.

We found that your order was placed in 2022; the warranty on your camera has expired.

In this case, we can replace it for you if you pay 30 GBP and return the old one to us. Please advise."

I will be paying the £30 and getting a replacement, very happy with the response and thanks for the users on here who suggested it may be possible.

But they didn't offer me that. I have a problem with my GPS, it's taking a long time to lock on to satellites. I asked for a service firmware update. They said the camera is faulty. Buy a new one.

Hello,
I remember reading a post about this a year ago.
The post said since the start of the Ukraine war in 2022, Russia is blocking / jamming GPS signals.
Is it possible your A139 Pro is not faulty, and GPS signals are being blocked?
Let me go find the post.

I think this is it; RUSSIAN GPS SIGNAL BLOCKED
Maybe @RadonVRN can help explain.

I knew about the GPS issue in Russia. But there was an incident when my dashcam started rebooting itself. I thought the micro SD card was having a death dance. But after several reboots, the dashcam started working and picked up all the satellites. I thought it was a LDA firmware glitch and asked Viofo for a service firmware update. They refused and sent me to the store for a new dashcam. Otherwise, my dashcam has been working perfectly for four years now.

4 Years is great. Mine have lasted about 2 years each give or take. Same issue on boot loop. I like the A139 Pro and was sent a replacement unit by Viofo recently, too. Also decided to go with their new A329T.
