first i noticed the export of a still picture is reducing the quality of the image. Here is the same exact frame. look at the detail of the lightning.

vs what is seen in Datakam

Ive also noticed the only "graph" to report is velocity. If its reading all the other sensors why arent the displayed?

It also doesnt read the correct values. Here I was stopped at a light so speed should be 0( embedded is correct) but it showing i am moving in the charts.

G-Sensor data is not logged. Hardware doesn't support using G-sensor for more than triggered saves. Altitude isn't supported either.

The developer of registratorviewer (datakam) passed away so the program cannot be improved further unfortunately.

Maybe try adding a codec pack such as Shark007
http://shark007.net/

Also try using http://dashcamviewer.com

For single frame image snapshot exports try using VLC player.

Datakam player works on reading the data in the file and calculating averages for display so won't always match what is shown on screen, I'm not familiar with all the nuances of the Mac version though, just a reminder too as a Mac user best to always format the card when you put it back in the camera, particularly if you do any file handling, deleting files from the card etc

maybe rephrase that as it sound like to me format card in mac before putting in camera. if doing any deleting files or file handling on the mac with the SD card, when you put it back in the camera, format the card using the camera to prevent any issues.

The program doesn't appear to have actually saved the same frame which is why they're different. It sometimes happens on the Windows version too and I think because you've got the lightning strike which will only be there for a few frames it's highlighting the fact it's not the same one you were expecting.
