A118C - Dash Cam Turns On, Proceeds to Records then Stops Recording After 2 Seconds

Pretty much the title.

I believe its a clone bought it from eBay a few months ago, capacitor version.

It's strange, I tried playing around in the settings but it doesn't help.

The only solution I found is manually pressing the record button.

Any other solutions available?

try a different memory card, try a different power supply, those are the two most common issues for any camera, if it's anything other than that though you might be out of luck
