Hey Everyone,
I hardwired a front and rear a118c into my car.
Both cameras are grounded with an alligator clip on each end. Both cameras are run separately to their own ground, but both connect to the same fuse tap for power.
The back camera never has any issues.
The front camera will work for 2-3 days and then next time i start the car the power and mic wil light up but the camera keeps rebooting itself before it will fully load. All I have to do to fix this is disconnect the ground clip for 5 seconds, reconnect to the exact same spot and the camera will boot fine and work again for a few days and then it will repeat.
Is there anything I should be trying to fix this? Only thing I can think of is that removing the ground and putting it back on is slightly moving the wire inside the cable if there was a kink or break or something.
Out of ideas.
Let me know.
Thanks,
P.S. I did swap cameras from front to back and same issue occurs on either camera
