a118c max sdcard size

Hello all, what is the max size of sdcard can work well in our a118c?

In the owner manual I read 32gb is the max size, but in some threats people use 64gb samsung sd .

Anyone has tested 128gb sd ??

I'm using a 128GB samsung micro sd on a118 battery version. It's a bit tricky to make it work. The key is to format the sd card to FAT32. Both osx and windows by default won't do that. You have to use some special software. And don't format the sd inside the dashcam using the built in menu because it will cause card error.

Hi guys. I just found out how to make the 128gb sd card to quit displaying Card Error and actually record. The card is a Kingston with 80 mbs R. I used a format tool off the link https://support.viofo.com/support/solutions/articles/19000046583-how-to-format-the-microsd-card- , I will post any other reply about any possible problem recording. I did not check the 1 minute loop file size yet but it should be the same I'd say. It's not NTFS but FAT32 showing in Properties ( I forgot what format type was set was before the format )PS - My camera is capacitor based
