The clouds cleared so decide to try again with out the flares etc.
The cats and tunnel of trees plus very old building near old church so a bit different from previous.
For those that did not realise for best display Download the file for full 1440p if you play direct from Google Drive it is reencoded to a low spec.

Ok, I think I have my rear facing camera stable enough now.
here is a sample clip:

Clip

Its an older firmware mod but I wanted to get the camera stabilized first before moving on to other mods. With it bouncing around so much from before no amount of image/firmware tweaks were going to help.

There also in this clip seemed to be some sort of refresh rate sync issue with the Hyundai Veloster that approaches me as its led DRLs are disco dancing in the clip but they were not in real life. To me this is not an issue and has nothing to do with the firmware but thought it looked funny playing it back.

I have had the refresh sync rate issue you mention but I notice it depends on the vehicle make. Most give perfectly stable lights were as others seam to be running disco flashing lights. I suspect the electronics within the vehicle have a lot to do with it.

Question: Is the video bitrate for 1440p resolution increased in MOD-7Px compared to MOD-7F?

Welcome to the DashCamTalk Forum,
My modified firmware version numbering system is chaotic so your question is relevant and necessary.
I/we wanted a two digit Tag for the MP4 embedded ID so the MOD use could be verified from video file properties.
To answer your question: 7Px = Bit Rate 26.6 - 27.6Mbps + IQ combination P + minor adjustments x
Firmware Modification ID >>> MOD-7F = Bit Rate 27Mbps + IQ combination F values (sharpness+edge detection+saturation...)
Yes, 7Px and 7F both have Bit Rate increased to 27Mbps.
Anyone can Request a Custom MOD with different Bit Rate or Sharpness or Logo ...

Here is a sample of Mod 7Pf .1440p Sample MOD 7Pf
Familiar video to enable comparison.
It is slightly over sharpen but not as bad as my YI smart dash cam. I noticed the audio seemed improved it was not so muffled. I still prefer 7Pe but would like to add the improved sound. My observations are after play back on a 4k TV.

Agreed, 7Pf sharp180 + edge148 creates outline halo, we found the sharp limit. MOD-7Pe Sharp170 has acceptable IQ.

Thanks for sharing your footage, the village brick work is great for IQ tests. 4K TV should be provided to all DCTeam members for accurate IQ assessments. Later tonight will create STABLE A119 MOD using 7Pe + Audio22.

Created new A119 - STABLE versions 7Re & 5Re released from Beta Testing with High Sharpness levels. Full ChangeLog details available from post #1 of this thread.

Will flash Mod 7Re will let you . Thanks

Decided that I will stick with the A119 series as I can't seem to get the A129 to work well, and the VIOFO software just doesn't seem to want to work with my Andriod LG G5 phone. But the A119 is just bulletproof. I have flashed it with the latest version and will look into uploading some footage around the GTA to see how it looks. I do equal amounts of driving in daytime as in night so we can see how the footage works for both. This is a new V2 version of the A119 set to 2560x1440P 30fps.

Look forward to any footage you can share from your area. Nightmares continue to haunt me driving the 401 & 403, ever since, I've maxed out auto insurance coverage and write off as business expense.
Wide angle A119 Lens is best for 8 to 10 lane highways, try to get middle lane but not between flanking tandem Semi-trailers unless driving an armored vehicle! When I think about driving around Toronto while here in Vancouver I automatically tighten my seat belt, yes it was that bad. Also got stuck on Coquihalla Highway in December freezing cold for 7 hours after 2 Semi trucks hit head on, lucky for me was driving my 4x4 with dual fuel tanks and switch to spare tank to stay warm until reached Golden, BC.
If you ever drive out to Niagara Falls or capture excellent long haul highway footage and fill 64GB card mail it and i'll send it back with a spare card.

Not much chance of decent footage today, it`s very foggy and drizzly. Looks like winter has truly started.

I do get to occasionally drive out to Niagara Falls. It was a bit of a pitty as I had family over and we did the route down to the falls and then looping back along the Niagara Parkway to Niagara on the Lake. Though that was with my old A119 and it's V2 original OEM firmware.

I will make a point of saving some of the trips for you in the future. If you want some mind-numbing, in April we get the fun 2.5h drive out to Deerhurst where you get to see trees and rocks for most of it. The only good part is the stop off over at Webers for their burgers and sit in the trains. Then in July its even more fun with the 7 hour trip to Mnt.Tremblant QC. I am sure that those will more than fill up a 64GB SD card and then some.

Those routes on bright day with sun not glaring in windshield are the types of footage I'd like to collect traveling on wide highways and insane speeds and slower country back roads. Interested in collecting hours of highway day & night footage on 401, 403, 407, 409 from Airport, 427, QEW, Don Valley Parkway, and Lakeshore Road, plus all the interesting views of Toronto streets and surrounding areas. Usually delete all direct sun glare clips, disable MIC, set Looping to 2-3mins, 24-25Mbps Bit Rate to save space. Must fill up my 4TB DCTeam HD some how.

Sample of MOD 7Re Unusual dash cam video.

MOD 7Re sample
Excellent example of deep blue/green Hue adjustment, this 7Re maximum sharpness Stable MOD looks very good, some will want the medium level. Thanks for sharing your rural footage on a perfect Fall day. I though you were going to get out of car and jump on horse with Dash Cam, then rename to Horse Cam.

BUG Found and confirmed by @lukasz.pl + @borik + @BCHobbyist
All Modified Firmware with Audio22 create a video timing issue when TS video format is enabled and MIC button is pressed.
Due to this discovery all STABLE and some popular BETA MODs will be replaced with default Audio.
MP4 video format is unaffected, and fully supports Audio22 modification.
Recommend downloading fresh copies of all Oct.4-8 recent STABLE MODs for A119 + A119Pro + A129Duo + A119S
