A119 V2 shutdown & restarting randomly

I started having this issue whereas the camera keep shutting down and restarting.

As i started behaving like this, it was very frequent, like every 5 mins. I re-formatted the sd card and it seems to have solved the issue, save for happening again, albeit with a random much lower frequency, like every hour if that happens.

Not tried yet to replace the sd card, don't really believe it is the root cause.
Any idea?

I'd check the card for errors/bad sectors if a format fixed it for a while.

Have you changed the wiring recently ?

Does this make you think about replacing the memory card?
More than half of the problems with Viofo DVRs are due to a bad memory card.

No, this also was a possibility which I ruled out due to the fact about the shutdown frequency change. But of course I agree that should be a potential cause.
just reformatted the card in-camera, did not format-check on a computer, I'll do that.
