A119 V3 Only Saved 2 Minutes

I just got this dash cam and I drove for about 20 minutes to test it. When I took out the SD card and checked it on my computer there were only 2 files and both were 2 minutes long. The rest of the 18 minutes were no where to be found on the SD card. I have loop recordings on set for 1 minutes since it is the only option available. I had the screen saver turned off for the testing as well. I have done a lot of searching before posting but have not found anything related to this issue. Why would it only save 2 files and not the full drive time while the dash cam was turned on and recording?
 
Look at the options and see if you have Privacy Mode enabled. Some countries forbid saving more than a few files of public data.

There should be more options than just 1 minute, I've got mine set to 3 minutes

Test the card with h2testw to make sure it's OK

You may have turned on Privacy Mode in the settings according to your description. You may check and turn it off to test.
 
Thank you for the replies. I looked and privacy mode was on. I turned it off and all the videos were saved from my drive yesterday. I didn't realize that privacy mode would do that. Thanks for the replies.
 
I've had my 2 V3's for over 5 years and never seen that setting !
