A119 v3 Wdr firmware The sound quality is poor and low.

How can we make the sound recording high and high quality?

when I got my first V3, just after release, I found the sound recording to be good

My second V3, a few years later, wasn't as good, sounded muffled

The second V3 also had the rattly buttons issue (another thread here) and when I opened it I also found the microphone to be in a different, more embedded location

I moved the microphone closer to the outer edge, near to some vent holes, and it's been fine since

Sound quality hdr firmware 2.6 good wdr firmware bad,I'd like to try what you said but my camera is currently under warranty.Can it be modified? Sound software.

Only if you're prepared to open it and move the mic

I had a spare so was willing to experiment and it worked

Oh, and I'm on 1.03 WDR which is absolutely fine

I tried all the firmware,( wdr,hdr,mod ) wdr 1.03 good but sound quality is bad. hdr 2.5 firmware sound quality very good.Is it possible to change audio recording software?
