Does the A119 without GPS show the speed?
 
No, there would be no way for the unit to determine the speed without GPS
 
That's what I thought but when I use Dash Cam Viewer the speed is posted??? I do have a GPS mount connected but turned the GPS off on the unit.

turning off GPS in the menu stops it syncing the time, it will still log the data to the video the file
