A119pro custom firmware vs stock

Hi all,

Just got my A119pro setup and wondering if I should switch to custom firmware over stock.
I've upgraded to 1.32 stock so far.
I can see there are quite a few stable versions available. Any in particular you'd recommend and why?

you can always roll back to official firmware if you don't like the modded firmwares for whatever reason

I'd suggest looking at the raw vids posted for the various firmwares. Some are very close to each other and some aren't, so really only you can decide. The latest ones are the most refined, so start there and work back.

Unless you run the stock firmware for a while, you wont appreciate if the improvements given by the custom firmware are worth the disadvantages.

Generally improvements come from increased bitrate, which by some people will be seen as a disadvantage. Other improvements come through other compromises which will suit some people more than others. The stock firmware is the compromise chosen by the developer, the developer probably put reliability higher than the customizer did!
