Firstly:
You have mixed up the topics.
Secondly:
For the A229 Pro this is not enough.

Viofo does not recommend the SanDisk Extreme in their cameras, especially 4K cameras.

thought it was just the ultra not good, this card been working ok for 12 months though, i got a new one a sandisk max endurance 256gb to replace it

Unfortunately, memory cards slow down as they wear out, so most cards become too slow eventually.
A card that size probably shouldn't be very worn at 12 months, but I don't see any specifications for lifespan.

They do say "the SanDisk Extreme microSD UHS-I card lets you capture uninterrupted 4K UHD and Full HD video", not "4K UHD + 2K + FHD", so from SanDisks point of view, it is probably still working fine.

You could try the "Lifetime Limited Warranty", but the "Limited" excludes use in dashcams!

The Extreme was in the supported group, but was removed after Viofo said issues were occurring. Especially on the 4K cameras (if I recall correctly).
