A229 Ultra coming?

Hmmm....that is interesting. A229 Ultra, maybe a body with a built in telephoto and standard lens? That would be nice!

Interesting idea, but how would you fit two lenses into an A229 body?

The main difference between standard, plus, and pro models has always been resolution, the Ultra should have higher resolution than the Pro...

Doing mental gymnastics here trying to figure out how they would build on the A229 Pro yet try still slot under the A329S etc. I'm stumped haha

Same here. Just what is 'Ultra", what is the new feature, or feature set? Would need vastly different internals because at 3 channels, the A229 Pro gets too hot. Maybe same wedge design but wider with built in telephoto? I would not consider a one channel with improved image and heat mitigation to be considered a Ultra product. I have $600 USD of A229 Pro dash cam in my car, unable to use all 3 channels due to heat; if the Ultra is the same as the Pro, with fixes and better images, then I hope VIOFO pulls the A229 Pro from the market.

At what cost to the A229 Pro market? How many channels? As to internal telephoto, they can keep the same wedge design, only larger dimension for the wedge. I am presuming also, Ultra indicates a much different board, component wise.
 
New VIOFO app works, but it still does not scale properly on an iPad Pro M4 when in the landscape mode. Unable to see the bottom bar for Files and System Settings. Reason it is a problem is when in portrait mode, one side has the USB power cable and the opposite side has the power button.
 
Who has detailed parameters for A329s and A329t？thanks

Maybe Ultra means cloud.
 
What could make the A229 an Ultra model? Well, it already has 2 and 3 channel capability, works with Telephoto, Interior, and Rear camera. Very good image quality, not outstanding though.

How about a one channel A229 that will record to an external SSD, has the improved image quality of the A329S, does OTA upgrades. Just maybe will accept a second channel? 😉
 
Is there any news on this new model?
 
I think it is much far away compared to A329S/T.
