I hope I haven't bothered you too much. Please forgive me if it seemed like I wasted your time with so many questions about dashcam models only to end up not buying one.
No apology needed.
No time was wasted.
I enjoy answering simple questions I’m capable of answering.
This is my fun “unmonetized” hobby.
I don’t make any commission sales, or have affiliate purchase links.

I’m 100% biased to VIOFO products because I’ve tested everything else from major brands, and nothing comes close in terms of;
1.) Maximum Image Quality
2.) Simplicity
3.) Ethical Business Practices

I also really like Vueroid hardware, company leadership, and engineers.
S1-4K is right up there with A329S.
However, Vueroid takes a completely different approach to software that is just to complicated for someone like me.

I’m relieved you’ve delayed buying A329TC, and are waiting to see T340 4CH release.
If past releases have taught us anything, VIOFO is always first to market with an industry leading, cutting edge new technology.
I don’t know how they stay two steps ahead from all other manufacturers since 2019, and even before.
When it's free you could
I said to install both because Peter said he was going to buy A329TC.
It seemed like a waste to remove his original A329 (2024), and not use it.
Since he would have a spare / extra RC420 telephoto I thought why not connect it to A329 (2024), and use it in normal / driving mode, (not parking mode).

But if you really look, the old A329 model is still being officially sold, and to make matters worse, at the prices of S, T, etc. models... anyone who falls into this trap will regret it.
A329 2CH (2024) was officially discontinued on viofo.com website when A329S was released May 19, 2025.
Viofo.com is the only official "manufacturer" website.
The reason you may still see A329 2CH (2024) for sale is because those merchants / websites are simply re-sellers / retailers.

While the APP can certainly display the battery charge percentage level, this customer's inquiry was how to get their A329 to work with the BP100.

You're correct, the older A329 does not support hybrid parking mode. In my reply, I overstated the capabilities of the older A329. The A329 still does have the "Vehicle Battery Protection" feature which can be used to turn off the A329 when a "Cut-off Time" or the "Cut-off Voltage" [provided by the HK6] has been reached. The newer A329S series can use the "Vehicle Battery Protection" feature to also transition parking modes when it is configured for hybrid parking mode. It would be nice for A329 owners to have the A329 support the battery percentage value as well in its "Vehicle Battery Protection" feature and showing it as a "Stamp" value.

This customer can use the power cable supplied with the BP100 to power the A329 and it will use the full stored capacity of the BP100 and then simply turn off when the BP100 power output is turned off when the BP100 is fully discharged. It could potentially be helpful to allow the A329 to display the battery percentage charge level as well like the A329S series/A119M Pro models can.

The BP100 battery pack is a very good offering from VIOFO for a dash camera battery pack. The BP100 provided power cable can be used to power the A329 allowing to use the fully storage capacity of the BP100 for parking mode. The only thing "missing" is the ability to display the battery pack charge percentage as one of the "Stamp" [status line] options or using the battery pack charge percentage level to turn off the A329 in parking mode. Since the A329 will safely power down [using its supercapacitor] when the power is turned off by the BP100 when the BP100 stored charge level is fully depleted, you can safely use the A329 with the BP100 for parking mode operations.

Viofo BENELUX viofo.nl is simply a storefront, no different than corner shop selling milk, bread, vegetables.
They do not manufacturer anything, or make official VIOFO policy.

damages the manufacturer's image
Viofo BENELUX viofo.nl did this 2 years ago.
We had a long period on DCT with many complaints about malfunctioning VIOFO dash cams (A229 Pro & A229 Plus).
Turns out customers who reported these malfunctions purchased their cameras from BENELUX.
BENELUX was selling “bundle packages” (Dashcam + SD Card).
The SD Card they were selling bundled with dashcams was on VIOFO’s Official “DO NOT USE” List, (Not Recommended).
The incompatible SD Card was causing the dash cam to malfunction, and many angry customers blamed VIOFO, when the culprit was actually BENELUX.
It took a year to straighten the mess out.

Cierto ...totalmente cierto .

The problem using any hardwire kit which has a low voltage cut-off feature when powered by a dash camera battery pack is that the dash camera will not be able to take full advantage of the dash camera battery pack's full storage capacity. Most dash camera battery packs will provide "12V output power" with voltage levels from approx 14.2V [on the high side / fully charged] to as low as 10.1V when the battery pack is fully discharged. Those output voltage ranges can vary a bit across the different dash camera battery pack makes/models on the market.

The retail product versions of the VIOFO HK4 and VIOFO HK6 hardwire kits have a low voltage cut-off feature in place with a minimum low voltage selection of 11.8V. Those hardwire kits are primarily intended to power a VIOFO dash camera while obtaining its power from the vehicle's battery/system. Before VIOFO started selling their own battery pack [BP100], there were several VIOFO dash camera owners powering their dash camera with a dash camera battery pack for longer parking mode support. The fact that the HK4 and HK6 both have a low voltage cut-off minimum voltage of 11.8V made it impossible to take full advantage of the dash camera battery pack's full storage capacity. That's when VIOFO started offering [by customer special request] versions of their HK4 and HK6 hardwire kits with the 12.4V cut-off voltage selection resulting in the cut-off feature being disabled. That non-standard version of the HK4/HK6 hardwire kit allowed the user to fully utilize the storage capacity of the dash camera battery pack.

The HK6 hardwire kit was the first to offer the feature to send the 12V system input voltage level to the dash camera. When the hardwire kit's "12V power" is obtained from the vehicle battery and not a dash camera battery pack, it makes sense to let the dash camera know that voltage level so it can present that info in the "Stamp" data on the status line and it can be used for A329S series hybrid parking mode transitions from the primary parking mode to low power impact detection. When the HK6 sources its 12V power from a dash camera battery pack, it starts to reduce the helpfulness of the voltage info sent to the dash camera via Bluetooth. It's still interesting to know, but you have to know that the battery pack's 12V output voltage range is different than a standard I.C.E. vehicle voltage range.

Now that VIOFO sells the BP100 battery pack, there's a more straightforward solution to powering the dash camera using the BP100 supplied dash camera output power cable. That cable does not have a low voltage cut-off feature which allows you to take full advantage of the storage capacity of the BP100. For the older A329, the only thing you don't get in that configuration is the ability to display the BP100's 12V output voltage level when using the HK6.

With the recent modification of the BP100 firmware to start sending its charge percentage level to compatible VIOFO dash camera models, that can be used in a similar way to the HK6's "12V system voltage level". It's up to VIOFO decide how many older models they will backport the feature that receives the battery pack's charge percentage level via Bluetooth.
