No, it means that SSDs can be power hungry beasts, and the A329 needs to have the power to power them without running out of power for itself !
Not saying that the next Viofo won't be a multi-channel beast, needing yet another charger upgrade, but we now have more power efficient processors, so I don't think more power will be required, except for powering the SSD if the next dashcam should have an SSD port, which I'm not sure that it will.
