A329. What is this?

I don't understand.
If the front channel is 65Mbps, and the rear channel is 27Mbps that is a total of 92Mbps in 2-CH configuration.
So it's capable of sustaining 92Mbps in 1-CH configuration.
Am I wrong?
The maths adds up but when it comes to two streams splitting the workload versus one stream, not so sure..

There is no processor in the rear camera anymore.
That’s why it’s Coax not USB.
All processing in done in the front / main unit.

Yes it is the same processor but we talking about threads here and might make more sense to split it into two smaller threads, to ease the burden on the processor.

I'm no expert in CPU architecture but i would presume that the higher the bitrate in any processor (whether you split the workload or not) is going to lead to increased temps because the processor is having to do more work to encode the video.

As Viofo said up there, they want to ensure reliability and if that means dropping the bitrate down in one channel or two channel, then so be it.
