A329T and 4TB Sandisk SSD recording duration.

It's taken almost a year to get to the point of overwriting my 4TB SSD as I've had to reformat it twice due to people disconnecting it while it was turned on. At least now I know how long it will record with the cameras set on standard bitrate at full resolution.
I haven't gotten to the point where I have hardwired the camera yet, so yes, I've been lazy. There is NO parking footage on this SSD. For my amount of driving, I have 3 months and 26 days of only driving.
The total time of all the footage is 329:32:25 or 13.7 Days worth of recording.
This is enough to record 26,320km or 16,354.49 miles, if you drive at 80kph (49.7mph)

I could drive around Australia on Highway 1 and do 1.8 laps, with every bit recorded in glorious 4K.

I doubt many people would watch that if I uploaded it to youtube..

Wow - 16k miles and 1.8 laps?!?! That's a serious amount of time! When using larger size storage media, it's pretty impressive how much footage can be recorded.

I use a 512GB card for recording low bit rate parking mode footage and a 2TB Sandisk SSD for drive mode recordings. I set the camera to record 2 channels (front + rear) during LBR parking mode. A full 512GB card holds about 6800 2min files. This works out to about 110 hours of parking mode footage from each of two cameras. 110 hours is just about 2.5 weeks of 8hrs daily parking mode. Pretty impressive! Because my drive to work is short (less than 10 mins each way), it takes about 4-5 months before the 2TB SSD starts to overwrite files.
