I know that videos can be saved to either Micro SD or SSD, but not both at once.

Regarding backing up. I understand it's possible to back up SD card to SSD, but must this be done manually, or can the camera do this automatically via some setting (which I haven't found)?

You can do it manually, there is a backup setting in the menu.

It also supports automatically backup, but it only back up the impact parking video, because the impact parking videos only save under the microSD card, you need to use the latest V2.0 firmware and turn on backup settings.

Yes, I did find the manual setting, thanks. It was the auto I hoped to find.

I also read about v2.0 but I thought that was still in beta. Maybe I'm over cautious but I've always been hesitant about installing beta versions (of anything).

Any news when the final stable release is out?

We will release the V2.0 soon (possibly in 2 weeks), it seems the current beta version is stable.
