Add DIY CPL (Polarizing Filter) to Reduce Windshield Dashboard Reflections

would could possibly come up with something that attaches to the lens housing, minimal room to play with so will take a bit of work I think, ideally you'd want something that can take a common filter

anyone find a real glass filter smaller than 37mm?

I use a 37mm adapter and purchased a better polarising filter as in a Hoya as I found the polarising filter that came with the adapter crap .

Here are my results.

Looks like some artifacts on the sides, but significantly better overall than what I have with mine. Looks great!! I wish there as a simple plug and play version of this without any DIYness that was available for purchase.
